Okay. You can reboot the kindle system by this one easy step, but you need to follow the instructions exactly or it won't work.
1. Get by a clock or timing device where you can measure seconds. If this is not available you can count bananas instead like one banana, two bananas, three bananas.
2. Hold down the small start button and count out loud, up to 30 bananas while holding the power button down the entire time. If you let it up for even a micro second then you have to start over.
3. Pat yourself on the back while you watch and fire boot up and work perfectly.
